It will soon be time for our 2024 Scarecrow Festival! Last year was a huge success, but let's see if we can make this year's festival one to remember!

About the event
Our 2024 Festival will be held over the weekend of Saturday 4 May to Monday 6 May. There will be 53 scarecrows around the village all with an OLYMPIC theme in honour of the 2024 Olympics and Paralympics in Paris.
Programmes will be on sale for people to search out scarecrows on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from various locations including Cononley Village Store, The New Inn, The Railway Inn and Cononley Village Institute (Monday only).
There will be a tea room at St John's Church on Sunday 5 May and at Cononley Village Institute on Monday 6 May, along with the duck race and raffle. Both the shop and the pubs will be open at various times during the weekend.
If you can help with any of the following we would be very grateful:
- Donating homemade cakes, biscuits or soups
- Donate a raffle /duck race prize
- Offer some time to help on the Bank Holiday Monday serving refreshments, selling raffle tickets or ducks
