Cononley Village Institute (Registered Charity No 223015)
A bit about me and why i’m fundraising!
My name is Ezra Clark. I grew up in Cononley and went to Stepping Stones Nursery and then Cononley Primary School. You may know my mum, Jo, who owns Stepping Stones Nursery and Kids Club. And your younger children may remember me from when I’ve helped out at the Breakfast and After School Club! I attended South Craven School and am now a student at the University of Nottingham.

In August 2026, as part of a university team, I am taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak and the world's highest freestanding mountain. I am doing so to support Dig Deep who believe every resident in Kenya has a fundamental right to access clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene.
Dig Deep work in Bomet County, Kenya, home to 1 million people and one of the most underserved and least resourced areas of the country. Here, 2 out of 3 people don't have clean water, over half don't have safe toilets and children don't have access to basic hygiene education. Through helping children and their families to realise their right to clean water, safe toilets and good hygiene, your support will save lives, improve education, empower women and girls and strengthen livelihoods. For more information please visit www.digdeep.org.uk
My overall fundraising target is £2990. 50% of this supports transforming access to water, sanitation and good hygiene in Bomet County, Kenya, and the other 50% goes towards my expedition costs (not including flights, I am paying for these myself).
Any support at all to help me reach my target is greatly appreciated Thank you so much!
